MAGNET SCIENCE STUDENTS:

Welcome to the Magnet Science classes at Darlington Middle School. The students in this program will be learning a variety of science topics over the next three years in preparation for future High School courses. The students of the 6th grade class will be learning the basic fundamentals of Life Science. Major topics will include Life Kingdoms, Genetics, Anatomy, and Ecology. The students of the 7th grade class will be learning the basic fundamentals of Physical Science. Major topics will include Chemistry and Physics. The students of the 8th grade class will be learning the basic fundamentals of Applied Science. Major topics will include Geology, Forensics, Comparative Anatomy, and Ecology. Students enrolled in this course will be responsible for the course materials and their grade level science curriculum, which will be covered on the PASS Exam at the end of the school year.

The Calendar link on the left will show you Class assignments, Homework, Tests, Quizzes, and Projects.

The Project Information Link will hold documents related to the class projects as they are assigned. Grading Rubrics, Directions, and information will be available at the link.

Students will receive a Weekly Homework sheet on Mondays listing the homework for the week. If this sheet is lost or students require another copy, they can pick up another copy in class. Until then, check the calendar for daily homework.
